KGK Group’s diamond operations received the Manufacturer of the Year award at Jewellery World Awards

 The Jewellery World Awards (JWA) honoured the KGK Group with the Manufacturer of the Year Award in Diamonds Category for the year 2021 on 21 February in Dubai.

Mr. Sandeep Kothari, Group Managing Director received the award on behalf of the entire team from Ms. Nirupa Bhatt, Consultant Advisor, GIA in the presence of industry leaders.

Over the years, KGK has witnessed an exemplary growth in its diamond operations. Recent launch of an ultramodern diamond manufacturing facility in Saurimo, Angola testifies the same. Discerning diamond buyers worldwide seeking natural and ethical diamonds trust KGK and understand its advantages of integrated supply pipeline, expertise, quality and choice. Talking about the award Mr. Sandeep Kothari dedicated this award to the entire KGK family and expressed his gratitude towards everyone who helped them move forward. “I thank the jury for considering us for this honour, as well as our loyal customers and colleagues. JWA recognizes KGK Group’s Diamond Operations with Manufacturer of the Year Award 2021, at a gala evening held in Dubai on 21st February 2022. Mr. Sandeep Kothari, Managing Director, KGK Group received the Award from Nirupa Bhatt, Consultant Advisor, GIA. KGK’s growth strategies in diamond sector have always emphasized upon inclusive growth, paving a success path for many. This acknowledgement is a driving force that will fuel KGK’s belief system and empower it to surpass expectations.

KGK Group is mentored by Mr. Navrattan Kothari who is the group chairman and took the mantle of the company in the 1960s. Bearing the torch of the legacy are the two strong leaders, Mr. SanjayKothari, and Mr. Sandeep Kothari. The fourth-generation leaders have worked relentlessly to transform the KGK group into a global enterprise with operations in 16 countries. It employs 12000 people and has expanded attained a vertically integrated standing of mines to brands in gems and jewellery realm.
