Jewelry Making Supplies/ Innovation by KGK Group
Relationship between Design and Technology made clear.
When it comes
to introduction of a new technology and processes, KGK Group’s gems and jewellery segment is always on a rapid mode. KGK as a wholesale jewellery
supplier is equally in pace with the same to upgrade its facilities for
uplifted quality as well as simplified production.
a) a) KGK has a strong presence in color gemstone segment in Bangkok which motivated to expand into jewellery manufacturing in the region. This state-of-the-art manufacturing unit comes with a heavy investment of close to USD 1 Million. Latest, hi-tech German machinery Sucha S 3D Rapid Prototype MC & Casting MC and Japanese machinery, namely Rotating Burnout Furnace and Wax Injector have been installed, along with De Beers Group’s diamond testing machines, to reduce the time and deliver high-quality output.
b) Some of the highly developed technologies at its diamond
manufacturing facilities are Galaxy & Sarin Software Version-7, Nishtha,
Synova DCS-50 and Green Laser Machinery. In addition, achieving cost efficiency
and sharing the benefits with the client is yet another objective.
c) C) KGK Group is armed with competitive CAD software that enables the development, modification, and optimization of the digital process. It also helps in achieving unparalleled precision and more realistic representation of the end product.
d) Introduction
of Optimus 1.1 & 1.2 in place of KGK’s Sarva to enhance the accuracy of the diamond manufacturing process such as Table, Coning, Girdle Faceting,
Pavilion, Single Facet Blocking, and Fancy Girdle.
e) KGK has
adopted a leading technology-based inventory management system for most
accurate and up-to-date reporting. Developed
by SpaceCode, the inventory management software is fully integrated with
electronic storage cabinet and tailored specifically for KGK Diamonds’ needs where every diamond has a unique ID and all movements of
inventory can be captured on a real time basis in the ERP.
f) Our CAM
software uses the models and assemblies to generate tool
paths that drive machine tools to turn designs
into reality.
g) Investment
in ProJet 2500 W Machine - KGK invested 70,0000 US$ in the ProJet 2500 W
Machine which is a 3D printer to refine and redefine Multijet 3D printing.
Through this printer, fine wax patterns are directly printed, without tooling
time, costs, and geometric limitations. The new technology allows smaller
production to complete in less than a couple of hours thus adding to the
efficiency and thereby witnessing business growth.
